With your support as a full sponsor, a young woman will have access to the Kisa Scholarship Fund, become trained as a future leader, and mentor groups of young girls in her community upon graduation.Develop a Meaningful Relationship
Through the interactive Kisa website, you will have the opportunity to build strong bonds with your Kisa Scholar. Learn about life in Africa, grow in service and leadership, and build global friendships.
Financial Commitment
$1,000 per year for 2 years
- *$850 helps cover the costs of the weekly leadership training program
- *$150 is a contribution to the scholarship fund that all students have access to, according to their need
Timing
Once you have made a contribution as a Sponsor, you will be able to create a kisaproject.org profile and will have access to all interactive discussion topics and fundraising tools on the Kisa website.
If there are Kisa Scholars waiting to be matched with a Sponsor, you will be matched within one week of signing up. If there are no Kisa Scholars currently without a sponsor, you will be matched with a Scholar in early May, when the school year begins in Tanzania.
